Revisiting - Red Rocks Canyon

Digging the graves of photos here, thanks to the good management in Lightroom, I was able to browse through all these oldies and redevlop them in a more punchier version.

These were taken in Jan 2006 when I was in the US. Chasing down the sun into the canyon was the most interesting part. Its so magic that all the rocks glow in red with the sunset here!

Here a little reworked version of the photo bringing out some of the sunset colours and adding the saturations to them.

A Panoramic view, 3 shots composite.

Here is a photo of which used in the above pano.

Which one works better? The wider panoramic or the narrowed down view of the chasm?

C&C appreciated

I prefer the panoramic. It gives a better feel as to how expansive that landscape actually is.

I like the pano as well. Looks nice as is, but you could probably push the saturation even more if you wanted to. Perhaps lighten the RHS of the foreground as well.

Cheers

Thanks for the comments :P

The landscape there is actually amazing, I got there late so couldnt get many shots out of it with not much light and the actual area is closing down for the night. The drive out in the dark was pretty scary around mountains and ridges with absolutely no streetlight... :P
