What were you trying to capture in this shot?
If you were aiming for the chicken, then it usually works best when the head (and really the eye) is in focus. My eye is drawn to the tail feathers which are in focus. A higher f-stop may have helped. I also think the chicken shouldn't be so close to the edge of the frame.

Posted: Sun May 06, 2007 10:48 pmThanks for the feedback, Daniel. Yes, wasn't sure if this worked. I like the DOF on the bike. I took this shot b/c I saw a chicken on the bike and thought it was cool. Had no time to re-compose etc as next fraction of a second the bird has jumped.
