Found a family of 4 of these (haven't positively ID's yet) but could be a Black Falcon or Black Kite, maybe, perhaps. Mum and Dad took off quick smart before I could grab the camera but the chicks hung around for a while. Couldn't get anywhere near them so these are 100% crops.

The parents were BIG. About 90cms tall and easily 1.2 -1.5m wingspan.

Looks like a wedge-tailed eagle to me. that's a very nice find.

Might be worth confirming and sending off to wildlife mags. Second image is nice and sharp.
