A few assorted shots from the weekend. C&C always appreciated.

Ice Cream @ La Perouse:
Taken with the new toy (had to wrestle Pat for it, but it was worth it

All good Kris but no.2 is awesome!
You've been posting some great stuff lately - keep it coming

#2 is my favourite out of these series, it really works well Kris.
#1 doesn't do much for me, a little too cluttered
#3 I like but not as much as #2.

that second one is like... wow! very cool! so well exposed, great silowhettes but also enough detail on the back of the van to make out that its a mr whippie! the bird in the sky just tops it off so perfectly!

No. 2 is great. Nos 1 and 3 don't really have anything that grabs me. No.1 is a bit blurry and cluttered, whilst No. 3 doesn't really have an object of interest. The silhouettes in no. 2 and the colours are fantastic though.

Had a bit of help from a layer mask on that one, but I'm pretty happy with how it turned out so I'm glad you like it.
The bird was just one of those serendipitous moments.

I like the first one, the tunnel under the railway. It has a nice dirty-urban look to it.

#2 is a gloriously timed ripper image. Great colour and exposure Macka.
cheers

I think #2 reminds me of summer holidays at the beach as a kid, when you could make the daylight last forever, and the prospect of an ice-cream at the end of a hard day in the sun was as close to bliss as you could get (legally of course

).
In other words, it's a ripper.
3 different, but nice shots

I think number 2 is the winner by common consent, then number 3 and last number 1. As Killakoala mentioned the first one has a urban feel about it and it is the type of picture I would expect in some billboard with some slogan like "Get fit, start now!"

Pro’s
Love the ”grunge” colour of #1
#2 is a wonderful composition and the contre jour is just right
Con’s
#1 - my eyes are being drawn to the left hand side and would love to see this cropped to the pavement
#3 - distortion on left hand side is distracting and right hand side needs a curves adjustment to give more contrast or ”brightness”
All comments are personal and do not reflect in anyway the opinions of the management

I'll go against the majority and say no. 1 for me. It has a sorta film look to it.
I like number 3 as well for the wide angle shot and composition
