Hi all,
I'm just after some quick yes or no here. This is just for personal collection of snaps to give away to some friends here. Does this type of color work ? or should I stick to a more natural color with white background. Perhaps even b&w? Thanks in advance for the advices.

Cute shots and I don't mind the black background, but the people look a bit pale and, in some cases overexposed, to me.

Abel - I love the idea, however I think (as Macka has eluded to) they appear nearly over exposed/washed out. I think that a more natural colouring or even as you thought, B&W would suit these better.

Thank you for the comments. Would one of these two treatments work better then ?
1. Straight out of the camera
2. Diffuse-glowed

Abel - brutal honesty - they appear in these now to have a sunburnt appearance

I should have known this is not going to be easy.

Back to lightroom it is then.
I think that these are workable definately - don't lose hope and it's just ONE opinion so far Abel

Abel, why don't you try the BW conversion.

I prefer the first batch, actually. (You know... just to make things simpler)

Those images could look best in B&W.

the blown highlights make the image look stylish
and it works for those images
not sure what you mean about the colour
you mean the subtle tones of colour or the black background?
