Forum rules
Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent.
Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.
Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread.

You know what they say about Queensland:
"Beautiful one day - perfect the next"
Here is proof. Living in Brisbane in the worst drought I can remember in the city (I know country folk have a much harsher time), I awoke this morning to the promise of rain.
And, almost to confirm the promise, I find this outside my back door:

Nice capture Trevor!
There were three rainbows about this morning, shame about the drive into the city though...

Trevor,
The rainbow's still not straight.
Well captured though. Didja find the leper at the end of the rainbow?

Well spotted Trevor and nicely captured. There have been a couple this week. On Monday we had the full halo ie a complete rainbow circle while I was flying over head Albion (just past your unit) - very rare thing I think and of course I didn't have a lens with me wide enough to capture it - next time

Yes, the ones yesterday were excellent, and the one you describe sounds a beauty.
You have a terrific vantage point!
