attempted to shoot swallows. failed miserably, these are the only 2 that came out sharp, all the others were blurry as.

Shooting birds is a particularly difficult pasttime. I was out on the boat the other day with a 70-200 F4 (non IS) lens and this is as sharp as I could get an image of a duck (heavily cropped and sharpened.)



I think the expert bird photographers use, generally speaking, 500mm or 600mm prime lens, and these beasts cost big $$$$.
