I had a ball meeting up with everyone, and seeing some new faces too on today's harbour walk. I just needed to get away from work, and relax so kept my photography pretty low key and just enjoyed everyones company and mucking around.

That said I have got a little set of different textures I saw during the day, nothing fancy but I thought I'd share anways.

Two man made, two found in nature.

#1 and 4 = awesome!

i love the strong pattern you have seen in the first, just beautifully composed, i always struggle with subjects like that. #4 reminds me of the froth on a latte! i think it could be even better with a tad more brightness/contrast aswell.

#2 is also good, it just doesnt stand out as much, i think only because it is a more common and identifible subject, and i dunno #3 just doesn't do it for me, looks like it was hard to get a good exposure with a few of those highlights tho!

thanks for sharing :)

Good eye there, especially the 2 last ones. Didn't really thought about shooting textures from the days walk

#1 and #3 are the standouts (in that order) for me. #2 is just too boring if that make sense.

Thanks for the feedback and I get it Peter, it's very same same, and too obviously a everyday sight, the others atleast are a little more abstract.
