The Oxfam Walk Against Want was on a couple of weeks back.

Did the 20km walk (a little over actually, as I walked from Queenscliff - Shelly Beach - Spit and back). T'was a brilliant day.

Here are some pics I managed to take... C&C most welcome!

The start

Looking back towards Manly. I'm not completely convinced on the effectiveness of the off-centre focus and the narrow DoF.

Beach along the way.

Glad to see another Maroubra resident :)

Do you have links to larger versions? #2 & 3 look like they could be excellent images, I'd love to see a bigger version :D

G'day Rooboy! Where abouts are you in Maroubra? Near the junction or the beach?

Thanks for your comments. Re the images, I resized them for the web and posting here (800 pixels at the widest/longest from memory). I've posted them here (http://www.imagestation.com/8492389/3918147586). Check it out and let me know.

I think I stuffed up the second shot - horizon was around 10 degrees off kilter, which caused me to not include as much of the 'left hand side' as I would have liked... :?

The 'Beach along the way' shot benefits from the larger size shown in the link, I reckon. I like the DOF shot, and the Queenscliff SLSC has nice structure/shape, but I'd probably increase the midtones to brighten it.
