This work is still very much in progress as I'm still working out the concept. There are many flaws in this one. I'm not quite happy with the pose, clothes and some lighting aspects, but I just wanted to see people's opinions on whether this image has any appeal to you.

I am not sure what it is, but I think the bottom half of the photo legs etc dominate the rest of the image.

It is a little unbalanced for me....

I agree with the previous comment in that it seems to be unbalanced, but for me the lighting just doesn't work. It is clearly a studio shot with the white back drop but the lighting is more suited to a less formal setting, way to harsh on the face and too dark in the shadows.

If this is a practice shot for something you are going to do in a different location then that my be what you want but if it is going to be a studio setup I don't think it works at all.

Andrew - I agree the lighting is harsh and as a result the shadows are quite strong. Reflector not being sufficient, I might consider a 2nd light source.
