Playing with flowersSo we had some flowers here at home, and enjoying watching them start to open, thought it might be fun to shoot them, photographically. So..with the white background being the reflector and using the SB800 in remoted mode I had a bit of a muck around and play. Here's one of the better ones. Would appreciate critique of the harshest kind! First image taken with the 17-55 and second one with the 85mm 1.4 .

Special Moments Photography Nikon D700, 50mm 1.4, 85mm 1.4, 70-200 2.8VR, SB800 & some simple studio stuff.
The first one is great - looks like it's coming out of the page into the real world. There is an oof patch on the LHS of this image which looks like dirt or something oof, I'd either clone it out or crop out. Great image.
No. 2 is nice but highlights are pretty strong. Alex
