Ahoy folks.

Been looking after 'mini me' today and got some time to look through some old images. Thought I'd post a few from the Bathurst motor Festival that I missed the first time. C&C welcomed of course, I'd be interested to hear what anyone things of the 2nd image. I was mucking around when I did it, it has sort of grown on me (like fungus). :D

Brock Skyline. The green blur is a Holden Vectra. The canted angle was needed to get the holden sign in. A shorter focal length would have been better, as would ISO 100, but that will come when I get a D2x.

A long hot day on the Mount. Straight out of the camera, no PPing. Well, maybe a little colour and saturation....

Loving the second photo love the treatment you've given it and i love the guy in the right hand corner don't know why but it keeps drawing my attention but in a good way. Great shots as usual.

Thanks folks!

I figure I need to try and produce more than simple 'race' shots, like number three. The more I look at the second image, the more I like it.

:D

#1 and #2 are great for me, #3 seems out of place next to the other two, while not a bad shot, it a bit more standard / mainstream where the first two shots are anything but standard. Nicely done.

You're right.

3 seems lifeless and boring to me know, but the other two are more what I expect from myself, i.e. not just race shots.

Oh well, you live and learn! :)

I like no 2 - the silhouette of the bloke upper-right really adds to a sense of [insert word that means emptiness, but not quite emptiness here].

Top stuff, as usual.
