I think you've done the impossible!

You've made the '06 look even worse that it already is (even if it is a tuned by STi) :)

But seriously, the ultra wide look does not do any justice to the lines of the car.

The first and last do the best job, but I think if you do it without such a wide angle they would come out better.

Cheers

The last one is definitely the best of the three. 1 is not bad also, but 2 doesn't tickle my fancy, but you're right about the weather, it's a crakin' day :)

You are taking photos of the car to show it off but you can't see any body detail at all. Not sure how to correct this.

Spot meter on the car itself.

Also try to use a longer lens to flatten out the image to bring back the sharp lines of the car.

who borrowed parts from a mazda 3 :D

on a more serious note, i was trying for something a little different than a standard "here is my car and my reflection of me taking a photo" which i unfortunatly got in the thrid image

Mate, I like what you are trying to achieve. I also like that you are trying to produce a different 'type' of image, rather than the usual images you see of cars.

As far as getting your reflection out of the image, a simple bit of PS will do nicely. Also, agree on the spot metering. If you were going to make this a side line income, maybe invest in a light meter? Cars are really difficlut to photograph in full sun due to the many relfective surfaces.

I like the colour at saturation levels.

I'll echo the comments above and say that i like the third, but the first two don't do much for me.

Oops :P '07 then, although the look of them is growing on me slowly, I still like my (well I should say my wife's now as she claimed it) '00 classics lines better though...

I do have to say whe i first saw the 07 nose in image i had a bad taste in my mouth, up close and personal these things are by far the most meat axe of the WRX's

shame they have stuffed the 08' however again it may be a case of bad on paper..... however i think the 07 may be the last of the agressive WRX's we will see.

oh and Raskill were you taking about the meter or the car? :P
