G'day, just a few from saturday from the hill.

Played with a D200 for a while for the first time, and wow, what an awesome bit of gear, i want one, now! Seems like a nice leap from the D70. I couldn't believe how fast it spits out frames when you jam your finger down (and not forgetting the viewfinder, focus points, LCD).

Cheers lads, appreciate the comments heaps :) I felt 'in the zone' during the day, so my keeper rate is ok compared to other days.

That's some fantastic panning. Your technique is exquisite.

Please pay attention to your image sizes when posting.

800px is, as a general rule, the LONGEST dimension of either the height and/or the width of your images.

You need to consider that many members view this site in lower resolution modes, and 1000 px is just too wide.

Panning shots are great, the first one of Amanda though is really great, some fill flash would have done it justice!

Sorry mate i've been using the wrong preset on export, i'll go back and have a tinker with it

Killakoala, thanks mate :)

bwhinnen, yeah i feel the same way about some fill flash here. Only prob is i was a bit far away (200mm), so i just stuck it on f2.8 with VR on and hoped for the best :)

Great panning!

I think #1 lacks a bit of contrast or something.

Cheers mate, you're right about #1 though. It was missing contrast, but have fixed the original :)
