At our recent workshop in Balmain we had a very patient and cooperative model, Vicky. As we layed with different lighting setups she tried to please everyone of us with a nice pose and smile. Thanks Vicky!

My daylight-through-the-window shots didn't come out that great, mostly because I tried to push my hand-holding abilities too far....

the bookcase background suits the 2nd one
simply because the amount differential focus seperates the subject from the background, although i think the bookcase background complicates the image
I would of opted for a white background and a window light difused through a curtain, if the shots were taken slightly over exposed, that would of smoothed out skin texture, you can experiment digitally blowing out the tones a little

last one is the best one because of the tone, simple background, angle, expression and the lighting looks more natural

very good effort
