Hi All,
Took my new babies, oh and the kids, to the park this morning for a first run. All images are OOC with NO PP at all (other than resize and saved at 70 quality in Lightroom), should I be saving at 100% quality or is 70 ok?
Playing with the new gear the night before I put the exposure compensation up to +0.7 and forgot to change it back down again  so some are a little overexposed.
It's only hot chocolate 
Taken whilst on the other side of the ride, spinning around!!!! This was also the 24-120VR lens, not the 85.

that first one looks fantastic except for the tight crop at the top
you got one of the best lenses there have fun!

She was jumping up from behind a wall so I didn't have much time to focus and frame the shot. I found the 85 really fast to focus though, worked well. Andrew

Yeah my wife loves that one as well  I don't like the way her beannie is sitting,but hey for a family album I love it as well.
I was to busy looking at my new camera when I should have been thinking more about composition etc... with most of the images and as I said, it did not help that the exposure comp was set at +0.7
I am amazed at the quality of the images though, they were taken in JPEG as well, huge change for me who has only shot RAW from day one. I can see much less time behind the computer Andrew

very nice shots!!! and a solid demonstration of the 85 cream machine.
were you the person asking about the 70-200mm VR. You will love that just as much for this kind of shooting, and a lot less zooming with your feet!
