Re: Egyptian Honey Balm
Almost as good as my 85mm kid shots ![]() Interesting look, I love the third one, the texture of the leather (?) hood against her face is awesome. Cheers. Andrew
Nikon D3 and lot's of Nikon stuff!!
Wendell, I dont like these as much as the last lot you shot. Them don't seem as good in quality as we have come to accept from you. You seemed to have rushed these. Focus is shit and comp is not to your usual standard. Sorry for the bagging but its not Wendell standard.
Jethro shoot it real.
look! and see. Shoot and feel
Sorry Wendell but I have to agree with Jethro - these are not to your usual style or quality

Okay.. I'll agree these aren't what I normally expect from the fashion portrait guru BUT... I still like them for the pure fact that they are a bit different. I keep coming back to that third one - to me, it's a beautiful image and the selective focus on her eye really makes the shot.
Maybe those Egyptians were on to something. ![]() Simon

I reckon these are great.
Focus and softness don't matter to me, mood does. Sharpness gets too much publicity, it hires a really great PR agency. Depends if it is the technical side of photography or the artistic side that appeals to you. HB
hi thanks guys
all comments well taken and understood for this series it doesnt show the fashion but it's just a snippet preview of the backstage mood at that show, atmospheric brooding yet fragile Wendell Levi Teodoro
