I thought this first one is the money shot :)

Nice images Trieu, nicely exposed and sharp. Dusty as always by the look.

A couple of comments for you to think about in the future;

1) get closer to the action :) They are nice and sharp but alot of detail is lost from this distance. Rally pics always look great up close and personal :)

2) See if you can get a lower angle for the jump shots this gives such a better look to them. Also try panning with them :)

Looks like it was a nice weekend down there for the tally though.

Nice shots Trieu.

As Brett says, your shots will probably be better if you can get in closer (safety permitting) or get a longer lens. I think 70mm is wishfull thinking for this sort of photography. 200 - 300 is what you want.

Cheers
John

Thanks Brett, thanks John,

Yeah... I only had the 24-70f2.8 with me that day and needed a longer lens.

The 70-200f2.8 would have been pretty much perfect for me!

Good stuff in the first two :)

I agree you need a longer lens also, at least 200mm, but it doesn't have to be the 70-200VR, (although it's awesome) others will do the job nicely. My Tamron 70-300 is a cheap lens but works well :)
