check out the latest copy of BMXPRESS. it seems to be fairly thin on the ground in adelaide (apparently because it sells so well, which is apparently cause i have had 6 page spreads in each issue for the last year or so ).
this is the cover (it's a pretty bad shot, lighting is too hot! - the cover shot isnt mine btw):
it has a 6 page interview with a good friend of mine, i'm very happy with 90% of the photos. the only one i didnt like was the portrair photo, i think i didn't sharpen it, it looks very soft (plus its an a3 spread).
anyway here area couple of shots, i've posted them up before, but these are in the interview.
check it out!!!

Great job!
Have the last two been altered? Lighting seems odd to me. It looks as though he been inserted on a different background?

nope. flashes off camera. stop the ambient down so you get a good sky exposure, little and boost the flash power up a little. looks great, especially in print.

at the moment, two off camera flashes, triggered by pocketwizards (very nice, expensive, radio triggers). i use sunpak flashes for all off camera work, either 555 or 383s. i am thinking of buying a few vivitar 285s to try them out, they have about the same power level as 383s.
am hoping to buy a forth pocketwizard (you run one on the camera and one on each flash). i have 7 flashes at last count, so i'm covered for lighting
