Took my D80 on its first real outing. Went camping in the snow near Mt Stirling. This area suffered really badly during the summer fires but thankfully there is life returning.

These shots were taken in roughly the same place at both sunrise and sunset. I've obviously had a bit of a play in PS but really aren't real comfortable using it yet - so much to learn.

C&C very welcome...

a lit bit overdone in PS. You can see banding in the sky. I think you could get some better results with different techniques in PS. If you want some tips show us the original and what you are trying to achieve.

By the way have they rebuilt Craigs Hut yet?

Thanks, i felt the second one went too far. I need to play with the various filters and find out the best way to use them.

I don't think Craigs Hut has been rebuilt yet, although i didn't head over there.
