I got an amazing opportunity to shoot rehearsals for the Paris
Opera Ballet
i've shot dance before but nothing so elegant and beautiful
I had to slap myself silly afterwards to wake up from the lucid deam
low light situation high iso f2 1/250, 85mm f1.4
some off framing with the fixed lens but i got the picture

BEAUTIFUL.
Great lines at #2 and #4.
Great moment in #3.
I love the second finger in the left hand in the #1.

Wendell - #2 and #4 for me. I understand these are blue because the lights would have been, but have you experimented with partially compensating for this by adjusting the white balance. I think it would give a less monochromatic feel to the images.

Hi Wendell,
The last 3 are fantastic. Love the 'order' within this compositions.
Great job (as always).

They're great, and I love composition of the third one to imply they're leaping.

Great shots, I especially love the 1st one... No probs at all with the high ISO and 1/250 was great to get sharp images. Pity the dancers' hands are cut in #3 (were they jumping?)

WOW! That is quite an awesome spectacle, who knew the human body could be so orderly and precise.
I agree with the WB comment though. Warmer could look better
