These images don't really fit with my NZ scenery posts so I've put there here for comments.

This first shot was taken with a view to a Black & White conversion in PP. Converted using Alien Skin B & W filter.

The next two are different takes on the same object and I can't for the life of me decide which I prefer. I'd be interested in your comments.

This shot is a little redder thanks to someone's red taillights as I took the shot

No. 1 is a killer, my man. Very strong and another great composition. The B&W came off very well indeed.

#1 is definitely the winner.
Of the other two i can't decide between them, purely because i am not at all drawn to either one - as an image, not just in comparison to each other.
I have seen far better from you.

Thank you all for the feedback. I guess Bernie's comment sums up the consensus on #2 and #3 nicely. They will now be consigned to my scrap bin.

We drove - no long walks to get anywhere. Leon has a map here somewhere showing where we went

The Lone Tree image is magic. You could consider entering it under the Song Title Challenge - "Wuthering Heights" for those of us who remember that far back.
