I think the desaturated one suits the scene well. A very eery feeling to it! Well done! Geoff
Special Moments Photography Nikon D700, 50mm 1.4, 85mm 1.4, 70-200 2.8VR, SB800 & some simple studio stuff.
The colour one has more appeal for me. I think it looks cold and bleak.This would have been a great shot for Infra-Red too. Well done!!

The B&W for me, but would like to see it with less contrast and more of a misty grey feel.....

I like the first one. I get the feeling that it is a photo taken in the 1800's and it takes you to a place in time that none of us were alive for.
B&W ftw! It gives it alot more depth IMO
