Hi Neon,

I think the desaturated one suits the scene well. A very eery feeling to it! Well done!

The second for me. The colour brings out the bleakness of the scene that's missing from the B&W version.

#2 (colour) has more depth (and a very nice pic) :)

The colour one has more appeal for me. I think it looks cold and bleak. This would have been a great shot for Infra-Red too. Well done!!

Colour one for me. The bleakness and coldness of the image stand out more in that one.

The B&W for me, but would like to see it with less contrast and more of a misty grey feel.....

I like them both, but for me the second one has a better sense of depth because of the foreground colour fading to grey into the distance. Beautiful scene. Where is it?

The black & white for me, to my eye the expanse of fogy sky doesnt seem to sit on the green grass as well.

I think thats what I wont to say?

Nice shot Rick.

I like the first one. I get the feeling that it is a photo taken in the 1800's and it takes you to a place in time that none of us were alive for.

B & W for me. Agree with crackatoa in that it gives it a vintage feel to it.
