At the Hobart waterfront. The last few day we have been having days of 9 degrees C so when the sun came out yesterday I took the day off and spent it down at the waterfront taking some shots.

You certainly have a plethora of great stuff to capture down there TassieD. These shots are beautiful, I particularly like 2, 3 and 4. Crisp sharp shots from an amazing part of our country. I still tell people that the trip Bel and I did to Tassie in 2004 (we hired a campervan and drove around for two weeks) was the best holiday we've ever had. Thanks for sharing - top stuff! PS - Is the larger red vessel the Spirit of Tasmania?

Thanks Geoff,

The larger ship is the Aurora Australis. You are correct we are very spoilt with the amount of photographic locations in this little state.

These are beautiful pictures. I think the first one captures everything I love about Hobart in one image. The mountain, the harbour and the Gallery. You are very lucky to live in the most beautiful place in Australia.

How good is the first one. A beautiful harbour with a snow capped mountain in the background. Who needs to travel around the world when we have this in our backyard.

#1 has more snow than what I saw when down on Wednesday.

I really like this shot, will have to catch my own mountain views in the future.
