We were all dolled up for a lunch, so we thought we'd have a bit of a play with an idea we had. No PP except a crop and a quick B&W conversion using capture. C&C would be very much appreciated...

Quirky fun idea - I like it.

Somewhat of a juxtaposition :)

very nice!!! lots of detail, lots of textures, fur, net, water, all good!!!

styling is spot on, and full. Exposure, good.

Feedback for next time... You are at 40mm F8, perhaps just a tad less depth of focus, to soften the building, perhaps f4 or f5.6.

The boots are well styled, but you cropped one in half :(

Lastly, the horizon and roof of jeff's shed, are too close to her head, perhaps take a knee, or lay on the ground to get her shoulders above or sperated from the horizon line of the building.

Very well done mate!

Thanks Guys. Bruce, I agree with all of your remarks. I've got another very similar shot with both boots completely in the shot, and Jefs shed framed a little further from Lou's face. I might play with that one instead.
Good call wrt the arperture. A little less focus would probably work better, but I did want the background to be recognisable.

Cheers...

Very cool! Great juxtaposition, Excellent work.

Only critique is lighting. The backdrop is overexposed, very strong fill flash or a different time of the day may have been able to fix that.
