LOL. I would like to see more detail in the "birds". I find my eyes drifting to the barrel. Perhaps a bit more contrast between the water and the birds. Very cute though!

I've shot those ones at Southbank before, it was at night time with the bridge in place.
On topic, the point of view isn't very good as you can't see the bird's faces and too much barrel for my liking.

Are these the same as the Kangaroos at the bottom of 239 George Street? I.e. made out of old car parts?
I agree though for these there is more detail required

I like the effect of the different layers of colour in the water, but I agree there is a too much barrel in the picture. I would crop the barrels about half way. A slightly more side-on perspective would also have shown the distinctive shape of the bird better. Thanks for sharing. I haven't seen these birds in situ so I'll keep a look out for them.

Interesting.....
I think that there is a fair chance that the poop is going to hit the fan with the front one though

Thanks for your responses.
Have played with it a bit more using Light Room this time (just learning it) and cropping tighter.
I will be revisiting it when the rain stops and experimenting with various angles.
Your right, bwhinnen, same concept as the kangaroos.
