was going for detail under the bucket

bloody highlights! it's one shot, so that's as good as i can do

My new PP technique is 'less is more' so i'm trying to only do minor tweaks. I did however use noise-ninga plugin in PS.
Thanks for any thoughts..

really like the 3rd pic. maybe crop a bit more on the right so you don't get as much of that sign in the foreground. The coat hanger looks rather dreamy in that fog

Come follow the rabbit hole...
I like Number 1, except for the intrusive MLC centre on the right. Nice sky and nice detail on the tower, though.
Number 2 has excellent detail (and is that a star trail on the right side? How long was the exposure??) Pentax istDS+K10D. Pentax 50mm f1.4, Sigma 10-20mm, Tamron 90mm f2.8 macro, Kit Lenses. http://www.redbubble.com/people/berndt2
I actually like number 4 James, I think you could do a little more PP work to bring out a bit more of the city, but I like the edge leading you into the center towards the main quay.
Cool thanks guys..
Yeah the highlight really bugs me, don't think i noticed it at the time! #2 was at 30s. I guess they are star trails? Are they possible at 30s? I was using a really shite tripod i remember though, maybe it moved? I'll give 3 a crop and see how it looks.. Cheers. Nikon D70

Well, unless the building moved in sync with the tripod to avoid blur ![]()
Good point
