Noosa Holiday/learning to Photoshop

I've just recently bought PhotoShop Elements - I know, it's not as good as CS3, but with a kid on the way, I just can't afford it. I was offered a free download/pirate copy of CS2, but my conscience got the better of me.

So anyway, here are my first attempts at playing with some scenic photos I took in Noosa way back in January. C&C needed! Please!

I was trying to teach myself about long exposures/waves over rocks etc, so there's no real point to the pictures besides that.

PhotoShop Elements is 90% of PShop. The other 10% doesn't count. Nice work! It's not the tools you have that's important...it's how you use the tools you have. I use about 25% of the functionality of PShop for most of my P/processing. In some respects these tools we use are like musical instruments. They take practice and skill to get the result we are after.

fair enough then - at $125, I'm not complaining!

I've noticed that curves control is way different, and seemingly much more limited than the full version. But the software that came with the camera allows me to muck around with curves reasonably well.

As a computer scientist, let me say thank you for having a conscience.
