Zebra

Another recent find from the shots I took a year ago now. A Zebra on the plains of the Serengeti looking very much poised for action, yet perfectly still.

If memory serves he was just a tad unsure about our presence, as opposed to any nasty predators in the area.

Very striking pose, and the exposure is excellent. Well done!

I tried photographing zebras in the wild last year - my D70 auto-focus couldn't quite cope. Manual was faster. :D

Thanks all.

When I went over there my girlfriend, who is a horse nut, told me she wanted a good Zebra picture when I got back. As such I shot them a tad more than I otherwise would and I think this is 'the' shot. Of course she admitted when I got back she was just kidding with me, but you get that!
