Yep. After 12 previous posts from the trip Sheepie and I took to NZ in February I've finished work on the last of my images. These ones are my fave four from the final day and a bit in Christchurch. There are more from there to be found
HERE. Hope you've enjoyed the journey even a tiny bit as much as I enjoyed capturing the images along the way.
The last landscape shot of the trip on the way across to the east coast and yes - there are sheep in the shot!
Christ Church Cathedral in Cathedral square in Christchurch has the best interior lighting of any church I've photographed
We stumbled across this building completely by accident. It's pretty unprepossessing from the outside but we ducked in to have a look and found a series of wonderfully old fashioned ornate rooms. More are on my website.
And of course it's not NZ without the silver fern.

Same here, last two are great.
The cathedral shot is interesting but doesn't quite do it for me as some of your other church shots you have had in the past.
Thanks for taking us through NZ.
cheers,
André

Hi Peter,
The landscape isn't one of your best from your trip, but the sheep are cute if somewhat small, shame the clouds aren't more dramatic. The two church shots I really like, especialy the stained glass window. The fern is ok, but the bokeh isn't very pleasing and distracts from the subject, rather then complimenting it.

Hi Stubbsy, the church image and council chambers are quite something, very nice.

I like the second one (church), especially the "spot" lighting on the pictures (I can't remember what they are called).
The council chambers also look good, but the rear wall looks a bit soft on my monitor.

#2 and #3 are both superbly lit to evoke a mood that really suits the content.

Thank you all for your comments. Katie - trust you to bring my words back to haunt me

I'll nail it next visit (I hope). I tend to agree #1 isn't my best landscape, but felt it rounded the series out nicely. As for the soft rear wall in #3 - it's even softer large. I was rushing to get the shot before a party of about 20 infants school kids descended en masse
Next visit I'm going to Dunedin as well.
