After a long day of working and being a journo as well as dealing with the temptation of having a new lens and not being able to use it (even though I had my camera with me), I came back and took some self-portraits with my new Sigma 30 1.4...

You and black and white shots work well together :)

Dun like the 3rd.... I think the first is the best one there.

When I scrolled down to see the first image I thought I was looking at a photographic negative. Sorry not enough contrast for me.

That's what a lithographic process is like.

Sorry. I didn't mention it. I'm experimenting with some lithographic tweaking.

Leigh, I think I can see your light side!

Love the last image - very satanic - and no, I'm not a devil worshipper!

Cheers, Mick :) :) :)

Way too dark for me Leigh - too much lost detail

That's one fashionable Mephisto!

Interesting technique, always good to see something new and different.

Cheers
Steffen.

Umm... okay... I'm modifying my Agfa presets to run through a Lith process that isn't too strong so it resembles the sort of contrast and tone I used to work with in the darkroom but has a lithographic look instead.

I never did liths in Uni as that's something people rarely do these days but the presets I've made for one of the filters emulate my process in the darkroom and usually give me the similar darkness, tonality, and grain that I would go for in my silver gelatin prints. Can you tell I like black & white?
