Aussie Superbikes with 70-200 2.8 IS

First up these pics are straight off camera...no PP.....and secondly a BIG thank you should go to Trevor Ross of Aussie Sports Images who graciously offered to lend me his 70-200 2.8 IS to try while at the superbike meeting..Considering i only just met him when he offered the lens..I now have a lens on order from poon :wink:

One thing i did learn was handholding and panning a Lseries at speed sans monopod,gives your lower back and forearms a workout :lol:

Gotta love that lens!!!! Once you go L and IS, you never look back. Top pics btw.

Man, you havent hand held a L lens till you've done it with a 300 2.8is for a full day.. I did this last weekend both sat and sun with a 1d... freakingly heavy :D

Nice shots, looking at them not a great deal of PP is going to be needed. I have to agree with Pirostitch and Kyle bot lenses mentioned are great and do get heavy after a while...congrats on the purchase.
