WIth Geoff's help, I got my new 85 1.4 toy
One of the first shots out of it (would you trust this man?)
Imagine waking up to this face? Hundreds of people have!! *
*edit by Geoff.
Some nicer subjects

(These were at 1.8, so too short)
C&C appreciated

85 1.4 ? if jealousy is a curse, i'm going str8 to hell.
#3 is a lovely intimate shot, i think that would work better B&W aswell.

It's a curse I know too well.
I like B&W for all of them

Patrick - you're evil! I don't like this image (of me) at all. Not the photograph, the contents..oh well. BEAUTIFUL photos of Alicia and Alex...don't stop posting!

I'm sure I saw that first photo on the news tonight on a story about some escaped crim. They said that if you see him, do not approach but immediately call 000.

Sorry Geoff - I had crappy light - backlight with very little light on your face, hence the contrasty, Lomo effect. It doesn't show your true light!

Patrick the last two images are great. At a push I prefer the last one over the penultimate one by a whisker. I like the eye contact and that lovely natural smile.

Thanks Peter.
Also, I will ensure I use an approprate DOF in future, but the new toy is a joy to use. Super fast focus, brillian sharpness and great OOF.

Geoff, you look like a guy i used to know who ran a lan in Sydney called Deathnet. most likely not you but you look like him.
i like the first image, how some parts are sharp (lower left chin) and some are really soft.

I don't think anyone (other than you) indicated they didn't like the first image.

Geoff, you didn't tell us you'd been to prison.

But how did Patrick get your mugshot?
