Had a great day out, and I thought I'd post a few shots and link to the gallery with a few more. Thanks again for Peter for organising and co-ordinating the day and also for lending me the beast (28-70) and Leigh the manual pancake (was fun).

Please check out the gallery.

What is a pancake? other than the kind you eat!

I don't have a shot of it (but I can find one) its a super slim lens, its not much bigger then a rear lens cap.

Nikkor 45mm f/2.8.

Out of production, a past gem, 2 or three elements only, giving it a very flat appearance, hence its name.

Leigh will bring his tonight for you to look at.

Craig

#1 and #3 are superb. Leigh even has a natural expression for a change instead of his"photo" look

You've put together a great sample of the day's outing here Craig.

#2 - I had a great laugh at this one :D

#3 - a natural portrait of Leigh. The harsh light works well in this shot.

#4 - The 28-70 attempts macro :) - it actually worked! I'll post the result once I've processed it

edit: I reckon give this one a bit of straighten and you've got a winner: http://snaps.coffeeloungegallery.com/main.php?g2_itemId=16727
