Here is a sample of my first batch of images from the AW ferry hop. These were taken between Circular Quay and Darling Harbour. More can be found HERE - ending at the Sculpted by Nature images (which are from an earlier harbour trip)

To see a larger version just click the pic. Critique away I can take it

Nice work Peter
You've been very busy! I think you should post your "sculpted by nature shots" as they are beautiful!

Thanks Matt - they are from an earlier shoot - I've updated the top of this post to make that clear.

Peter I like all of these #2 is my least favourite out of these but your gallery of previous visits is great some really good shots in that collection.

love the symmetry and tones of the first one.

Opera Quay - I love how you managed to not get people in it spoiling the shot.

Looks superbly presented at these smaller sizes. Although the views of Sydney skyscapers are too colourful for my preferences... I like to think of the city as a dirty grey concrete jungle that holds no appeal or attraction. ;)

Excellent images Peter, very difficult to critique.

I can't critique, just admire. Love number 2, but all are very good.

Thank you all for your comments.

That one was a bit of a dilemma. I had an OOF one WITH people right at the end I preferred (but it was OOF of course) and this was my second choice. No people in the image was one benefit of being there at 8 am and the light was superb.

Stubbsy,

I like #2 and #3.

#2 has the exposure well controlled, and the reflection tops it off nicely.... and it's a ferry we didn't hop :D

#3 good landscape showing the CBD against the water - trademark Sydney without being too postcard-ish. Capture those dock cranes while you can... it's days as a working harbour are going. (are they bunnies or birds in the clouds?)
