Another Ferry Hop

Hi,

I'm sure you are getting tired of the AW Ferry Hop. I tried a few different things on this one. I don't usually do "people" so on the day, I forced myself to do a few.

Interesting gentleman going home on the ferry

Women waiting for the next ferry. This was taken through a pane of plexiglass, basically making my Nikkor a Sigma

This last one is not the best composition. Just wanted to show the view from the appartment that Glen was able to organise for me. This was also taken with Chi's 17-35, thanks to both of you.

(edit: I should mention that this was after the AW dinner and a number of red wine glasses  )

Thanks for looking and any C&C welcome.

It's always good to 'force' yourself to do something you don't normally do or aren't usually comfortable doing... well done on the ferry shots Andre. The first especially - seems like you got really close and it must've taken some guts to hit that loud shutter release with the big black box so closely situated, pointed at a stranger.

That's a great view from the apartment. So much of the city can be seen. (it's times like these that I wished I didn't live in the middle of nowhere)

Nice and close makes for big pics! I think you could have sacrificed a little DOF in order to get a tad more shutterspeed. That would have added some extra sharpness. Nice work! It was a great day!
