The first one is my pick, and shame in the last you didn't get eye contact from both, but that is perfectly understandable as I'm sure you had plenty of competition.

1 and 3 are great. Love how the background in 1 came out, although would be slightly better with more room at the bottom. Great stuff!

Didn't DJs ship over a whole boatload of 'important' big name international
models in order to compete with Myer's one hawttie Jennifer Hawkins?
Did you use flash for the runway shots? It looks very well lit compared to prev launch shows.

i think also you need to be more discerning about the photos you post
in a reportage sense the others dont say much compared to the one i choose and on top of it its a very nice photo
the one of emma on the runway for example isn't flattering to her or the fashion its too isolated
once you get a trained eye for editing youll notice your photography will improve

You are right, and I some way I know it.
But I mentioned David Jones and the summer collection so I just contextualised my pics in relation to the event.
That's they were teaching to the PJ's course overseas. The old concept of 5 W.

I have not edited all, but your pic is in a safe strong-box.
A sort of "the best wine" in my cellar.

Wendell - The sections isn't always about posting your best shots, its about posting images you want reviewed and critiqued by your peers, so in this instance I think Fab can post this shots, he's linked to the gallery so anyone interested can look at the other shots.

i also think to be a good photographer you need to be a good editor
so i helped him realise that in that respect
perception is almost everything
