It was too calm to fly yesterday so I tried to capture the sunrise.

C&C Please. Particularly in relation to the cropping

For me, the third is the winner here Steve.

The first is almost there but seems a little cramped horizontally. The second is crying out for more foreground; just a tad lower. The problem with that Kangaroo Point vantage spot is that great chunk of black nothingness where the Gardens and mangroves are. Perhaps two versions blended - one with the Gardens area brightened up a bit so it doesn't appear so bland but still adds more room at the bottom of the shot? Hope this makes sense.

totally agree with Simons view as that was my exact thoughts as i scrolled the pics down.

I really like the metallic effect of the water Steve... very nice!

I have unsqueezed the 2nd one a bit. The first is essentially uncropped so I can't do much with it except file it in the round.

Looks much better 'unsqueezed' in both senses (ie not wedged between the other two photos anymore, as well as crop change )

I really like the third one too, but maybe with a tad less sky at the top? My humble unlearned opinion.
