Here is the second (and last) sample of my shots from the AW Ferry Hop last weekend. And before anyone comments (Chris ) yes it's been photographed to death, but there is a certain appeal to all those lines and curves of the SOH. All four shots were taken with the Nikkor 28-70. Nice shots Peter. I like them all, and besides, what else can you see from the ferry. You show how good the 28-70 can be in competent hands. Great work.

The big problem for me with outings like this is not to get postcard type images - trouble is 90% of what I end up with is just that. For me #1 was a nice outcome (who'd buy THAT on a postcard )

No-one mate. You need to have that other big metal coathanger thingamawhat in the frame . And, besides someone may get it confused with a dish drainer.


edit: Must have missed these the first time round. Nice work on the post processing - I had a bit of difficulty getting clean blues out of my shots like you've got here.

Nah really - they're very perfectly processed/presented: horizons straight, perspective corrected buildings and deeply saturated skies (good thing the weather held out).

1st class landscapes as always...
