what a nice old tool to photograph, I assume it may have been sitting somewhere collecting cobwebs - perhaps a tool of your dad, uncle, grandpa ?
Love it, however either my eyes are tricking me or there is a real focus problem.
I think there is an issue with DOF - it needs a tad more.

It's actually sitting in my garage. Originally I wanted to photograph the spider that created the web, but it kept disappearing every time I went near it so i snapped a couple of the plane.
You're right, DOF is too shallow. Might have another go with a different setting minus the cobweb now.
