The weekend at Oran Park was not the best weather and the poor light on Sunday and late Saturday made it difficult without the pro lens,but a good time was had.





Not the best images but OK under the circumstances I guess.

Hey Jeff,

I hope you don't mind me playing around with one of your photos and thanks for your comments on my thread from Oran Park. I really liked this photo so if you want me to remove it I'm happy to do so.



I used Capture NX to make the adjustments and this is what I came up with. I could of probably lighted it a touch but it seems to look fine on my Mac. I really didn't spend too much time but I think the photo can be saved if you shot it in RAW.

I quite like #2. Captured the action really well, and focus is good. While the weather has left it flat, in the conditions presented I would say it's good work. As said, if it is in RAW a bit of PP could really make it pop! I'm afraid I'm a PP noob so can't offer much advice on how.
