A sequence of the eclipse, does it work? Framing ok?

And some others:

My first go at this sort of stuff, I learnt a lot... pity the next one is a while away! :p

Eclipse sequenceHi guys,
A sequence of the eclipse, does it work? Framing ok? ![]() And some others: ![]() ![]() ![]() My first go at this sort of stuff, I learnt a lot... pity the next one is a while away! :p ![]()
Looks great mate well done, the hardest part for me was when it was orange, the light was not bright enough to get a decent shutter spread thus eliminating blur etc.....much tougher that i first though thats for sure.......
Dan
love the first one, do you have any more image top and bottom (if not maybe clone it in), just looks a little tight top and bottom.
very nice set!
Which order were they in? I guess it was towards the end of the eclipse rather than the beginning and starts from the bottom and goes up.
Definitely, I found the same! Thanks for the suggestion Bruce, I printed it out as an 8"x10" today and that's definitely a problem. I shall just clone in some more sky at the bottom and crop more liberally on all sides! Think I might get this printed on canvas at 20"x20", would look pretty cool! Andrew: yes you've got it, this was the tail end of the eclipse, the images were 3 min apart over the space of 42 minutes. Actually I have them every 1.5 mins but they overlap. First time I'd used the D200's interval timer and it works well, good stuff! ![]()
Ha! I was shooting at 2.5 minutes apart using Nikon Capture 4 Camera Control and had to go with every second shot (5 minutes). One of the nice things about using NC4 Camera control is the images are loaded to the PC and not the camera so they are immediately available for review on a decent screen and it also gives you the opportunity to stop the time lapse, adjust the settings and start it up again.
