I did the photos. ended up using my SB800 off camera with pocket wizards while I held it just above the lens with LSPJII with no dome attached.

I am not sure if these are bright enough, and I can't seem to get the White Balance right. I have 2 edits, I think the 2nd edits are better (on the left)

In hind sight, I should have used a seat so I could of gotten the Angle and framing uniform.

//EDIT: as per Oz's Suggestion, I removed the cooler photos and added cropped photos

The L/H side edits are better, but the left shoulder on the subjct looks huge. You may want to consider a cropping of more of the L/H shoulder which will still leave the club badge showing.

Cheers

on my monitor, left edits are warmer, and look good.

I dont like the framing. suggest crop, keeping left side, crop top, right, and bottom until the eyes are more central to the image.

can you try that and repost?

actually, before you crop, perhaps consider resizing until they are the same size subjects.

Oz,
I did the cropping (as near as what you suggested as i could) and i think they are much better, even with the cropped off shoulder

I have removed the first batch, the 'cooler' edits and put the new crops up in the original post.

Thanks Oz!!

:D

I imagine these are going to be hung on a wall side by side. are the heads the same size (or at least in the proportions of real life differences).

perhaps mount them side by side in here, and compare.

from the first images, the second chap's head would have appeared much smaller (but note, some cultures actually use this to show corporate seniority!)
