i personally like the blur (its a huge, fast gap) but i am not sure if its compromised because of the tree in the background, that his wheel blends into... but because the top half of him is contrasted against sky, i think it might work?

looks like its been 'cut and pasted' in.....i personally dont like it....but thats just my HO

I think that the main element in your picture...the biker...is too small in the image space. Nice idea but you need to get closer to the action.

I agree with matt K that the bike and rider is too small, also I agree with you that the tree is a distraction. However I do like the lighting, other shots with late evning sky as a background could look really good.

reason for composition was to encompass the whole scene. he launched from the steel ramp over the planter and onto the grass.

unfortunately any further in and you cant get that shot
