What were you looking for? What is the job?

Thanks again :)

ATJ - we were doing a general fauna survey - so we were looking for pretty much everything that wasn't a plant :) so we had traps out for small and medium sized mammals, snake traps, pit traps for lizards and frogs, harp traps out for microbats, and then did general search, call playback, spotlighting, running around with butterfly nets - was great :) And everything that is captured is identified, and then released unharmed.

Bindii - the glider was a real sweety - they are so small, we only knew it was there because it vocalised to another glider in a tree about 20 metres away. Usually, you find them by vocalisation, or spotlight. If you are lucky, you'll catch a glimpse of them as they glide between the trees :)

Marvin - what can I say - I'm spoilt ;) :)

Hugs
Rel
