First one, is Heteronotia binoei

second is a close up of the foot of Gehyra catenata - I really liked the comparison of the 'finger prints' of a gecko compared to that of a human

Love the fingerprints, very creative! I wonder if the little guy is alive and conscious by that time?

I love the second one. I think it could do with some white balance adjustment.

Rel

#2 is superb - great concept. (and I agree re the WB it looks a bit blue/purple)

Thanks again guys :)

Edit - and for the record, as soon as this shot was taken, the gecko was let go again - took the shot as one of the defining characters in identifying this little one was the number of ridges on the footprint of the toe (the laminae) - see, there was even a scientific reason for the shot ;)

The second shot is of a different gecko, which is greyish in colour ... so I'm not sure if I've made this worse .. but here goes

Very cool work Rel. I like these a lot. Best laminae I've seen on this forum!
