Hey guys,
Just a quick one of my boy, bit of an impromptu photoshoot so no planning. i would like to revisit this at some stage.
i bounced the flash off the wall to the left of camera and the lighting on the hair is from the window behind.
Let me know what you like or dislike

I think he has a lovely look on his face and good eye contact but he looks a little red on my monitor.

Lord he is cute as a button!
Great image
btw... I really like the lighting... I think it could benefit with a small foreground crop though... and maybe next time you could try taking the shot without a nappy as the stark white stands out againt all of those other lovely muted tones...

Nice natural photo, lovely expression
a lilttle photoshop would make this a real winner, perhaps dodge a little of the facial shadows lighter ,a little burn to dull and blur the nappy , and desaturate the pink a touch. Might also make a nice B/W conversion
I also have a son so remember the peril of 'nappy free' only too well - suggest you keep a couple of panty liners in the bag as they make great quick substitutes - tiny but absorbant

A real portrait....Almost looks like a fine painting. This deserves to be framed and hung. The skin tones look a little too magenta on my monitor and perhaps desaturating the colours a little might improve the image. It would also work well as a sepia toned black and white, though this would have to be done with some care. Great job!

i am seeing that the colours a little too red now aswell. i did the processing on my work laptop which probably has the worst screen in the world.
i will rework the colours on my normal lappy which seem to give me a closer representation of the real thing.
cheers for the comments guys and gals.

Looks cute, but looks quite red as well. Desaturate the red channel a bit and it will be sweet
