Thats great, nice curve on the left leads you right in.

What are the camera details and filter. I used to do a fair bit of Film IR but none yet on digital,

Thanks
Robert

That's a great image Goose - just the right subject matter to really set off this technique. I'm sniffing around at the moment for an IR filter and this has really whetted my appetite. Terrific job!

Thanks guys, appreciate the feedback.

Robert, it was taken with a D70 (on a tripod) with the Hoya R72 filter.

Thanks goosebury,
Did you find it time consuming to get rid of the red cast in PP or did you shoot in B&W mode? I've got the R72 but not used on my 400D yet.

Great shots...got any more for inspiration.
Robert

Thanks NeoN.

Robert,
I actually shot this in normal colour mode, however, I did a preset white balance beforehand (with the filter on and the camera pointed to a patch of grass that's in the sun) - this will remove the red cast so you don't have to get rid of it in PP. Have some more, will post up later if i can.

Gorgeous!

And thanks for the white balance trick.

I have an R72 as well but never think of getting it out.

this is gorgeous
and i love the curve on the left and when you follow it up
you end up with those nice curves in the sky going in the other direction.
