I really like the first shot. Great capture with the bird in that position.
I'm not sure but maybe cropping the second pic so that the duck takes up more of the frame would make the pic appeal to me more. I find the leaves a bit distracting. I love the look of the water in both the duck shots.
I mean lighter. That may mean an increase in contrast or you may be able to do it with just brightness.
If you are working with RAW, increasing exposure compensation may help. Adjusting Levels may also help.
Somehow I dont thinking working at my pc nude is going to improve my photography. Oh you mean RAW, lol. I still work with jpeg.
Lol I missed these Teela.. you got some good ones btw.. the kooka is my favourite..but then again I do have a soft spot for the little fella's...
